About Me
Hello everyone, I’m Conwy.
I’m quite shy, especially around new people. But I am getting much more confident the more time I spend with the girls and boys at LAW. They take me on nice walks to the beach, which I really enjoy, and they also play games with me. They are great because it means I get tasty treats. Yum…yum.
What Makes Me Special
Even though I’m a bit shy around humans sometimes, I absolutely love other dogs. I adore playtime with my doggie pals in our area. We have such a lot fun running and chasing each other. I can also be quite mischievous. Not in a naughty way, though. For example, when someone comes into our area I will usually hide a bit. But when the others are getting cuddles, I will sneak in around the back and get some as well. Crafty, eh?
I would be most comfortable in a home with another friendly and confident dog to help build my confidence, and with humans who are calm and patient.
Why am I Here at Lanta Animal Welfare?
I was rescued from a shelter on the mainland, along with lots of other dogs that also now live at LAW. Most of us were only little puppies when we arrived here. We had all been caught on the streets and taken to a bad place where we had hardly any food or shelter. We were all so scared. I really don’t know how long I would have survived if LAW hadn’t come to rescue me. I think I’m very lucky to be here, although I would love a proper home.
